Why did you seek out training at Carpe Diem Personal Training?
I was looking for a person that could be a one stop shop for helping me improve my overall health and body. Being a business owner and specifically a restaurant owner I wanted a trainer that would not only help me work out efficiently but bring some structure to the foods I was eating and supplements I should take in order to be as physically fit and healthy as possible. Like most of us time is something that we have a limited amount of, and I wanted to make the most of the time spent working out. Matthew has been that and more for me. I’m finding that every exercise that I do has a purpose and there is no wasted time. The conversation Matthew and I continue to have about the foods I’m eating is very beneficial. I’m still able to eat two meals a day at my restaurant (Chick-fil-A).
Please list any short and/or long term goals you currently have and/or have achieved.
I first came to Matthew because I felt like I should have more energy and my body fat started increasing over the years. Although most couldn’t tell that my body wasn’t healthy I knew I hadn’t put in the time exercising or disciplined myself with food choices. Having been a former collegiate athlete I knew I needed to start changing my habits or this would become an even bigger problem. I hope to lower my body fat % and increase strength and flexibility.
Any thoughts about working with Matthew or your experience thus far at Carpe Diem Personal Training?
It’s been a great experience with Matthew. He doesn’t let you cheat in the gym, and is encouraging always wanting you to succeed and see change.
