Why did you seek out training at Carpe Diem Personal Training?
A year ago I decided enough was enough and I wanted to get back in shape. “You look great…for having three kids” was just more of an excuse than a compliment. I was tired of all of the excuses and I was done feeling so fatigued and just plain awful. I also wanted to do things the right way and knew I wanted help. After calling and meeting with a few personal trainers, it was clear that Carpe Diem Personal Training was exactly what I was looking for.
Short and long term goals:
My short term goals were to loose the baby weight and get stronger. Over the past year, I’ve dropped three pants sizes and definitely become stronger and more confident. As cliche’ as it sounds, my long term goal is to be in the best shape of my life. No more excuses. I think there’s always room for improvement and I’m excited to see how much I can accomplish.
Thoughts on working with Matthew:
Matthew has been amazing to work with. He has a thorough understanding of all aspects of training and weightless including diet and the roles of hormones. He is a good balance of toughness and encouragement, and I always end up doing more than I think is possible. I’ve enjoyed working with Matthew and would definitely recommend him!
